Good morning my stunning readers! While I’m enjoying our new addition to my family, I’ve asked a few of my fellow bloggers to guest post for me. Up first is a blogger that I have followed and admired for quite some time: Nichole from Bedlam Beauty. Her swatches are seriously amazing and she has such a great sense of humor. Today she is showing off a beautiful polish by Carpe Noctem Cosmetics: Immortal Coral.
Hello hello boys and girls! I’m Nichole from Bedlam Beauty
and I am taking over the world
the blog for today while Miss Jessica is away. I’m super stoked to be here, and I brought one of my favorite new indie shades to share: Immortal Coral from the always-fabulous Carpe Noctem Cosmetics.
I have such a huge love/hate/love relationship with corals. They are so delicate and classic…sigh…I feel like a proper lady while wearing them. But they very often look horrid against my particular shade of cool-pale skin. Pink leaning corals will work, but it is rare that I find that perfect shade of “inside a conch shell” coral and am able to wear it happily. I have said it before, and I’ll say it again: Emily from CNC is a witch. There is no other explanation.
This shade was a limited edition color made for the superenabler
Facebook group “Hella Holo Customs
“. It is a dangerous place and you should never go there. And also, they have beautiful things and you should definitely apply. I bought this and Emily’s other shade, sight-unseen, because I love pretty much everything that girl touches. I was not disappointed here. This super cream coral holo was opaque in just two coats, and (for me) wears like iron. The rainbow is delicate and yet pronounced in the sun…though because fog, you’ll have to take my word on that one. I love that in my fancy “studio” lighting, it looks like it has the faintest gold shimmer…sigh.
Perfect, right? Right.
The bottom line for this polish: do you like shiny things and also like being a fancy lady? Are you tired of those two things being mutually exclusive? Then this is the polish for you! If you find it, snatch this sucker up.
And thus ends my takeover of Be Happy and Buy Polish! We had some good times, some laughs, and some wistful sighing moments…oh yes, good times. I just want to say a huge thank-you to Jessica…and congrats! Now, let me see pictures of that baby!
Thank you, Nichole! I adore this polish, and you are rocking it. Please make sure you follow Nichole on Facebook, instagram, pinterest, twitter, and YouTube. Lastly, let her know what you think of this great polish!
