Pretty & Polished Strawberry Lemon Ice + Coral Grimes swatches + review

Purchased by Me buttonWoah! End of August, where did you come from?! I don’t think I’m ready to see you yet. LOL! But here you are anyway, hmmm? I guess there’s only one thing to do and that’s to show off two lovely polishes from Pretty & Polished: Strawberry Lemon Ice and Coral Grimes.

Strawberry Lemon Ice is a pale pink crelly polish with glitters of bright yellow, pale pink, and slightly darker pink. You know I love my crellies and though I was hoping the base of this was more white, I still like it!

Coral Grimes is a thermal nail polish that shifts from coral to silvery white that also has specks of red-orange. I swear that in the sunshine you can see holographicness as well! These two photos show it in its natural state (at least, for me).

Pretty & Polished Coral Grimes hot state | Be Happy And Buy Polish

This photo shows the “hot” state of Coral Grimes. I kept this on while I was playing outside with the kids and it even went lighter-colored than this photo shows.

Pretty & Polished Coral Grimes cold state | Be Happy And Buy Polish

I had such a time trying to show the cold state of Coral Grimes because the day I took these photos, it was like 95 degrees. Soooo, I used an ice pack from the fridge to at least get a partially good photo of the cold state. LOL!

I’ve always shied away from buying thermals since they don’t last forever, but I am glad that I picked up Coral Grimes. It really is a pretty polish either way!

Do you have any favorite thermals, or do you stay away from them as well?
