First up is Sephora Formula X Kaleidoscope, shown 1 coat over Sinful Colors Black on Black (2 coats). This has a pretty shift from purple to blue.

Next is Sephora Formula X Chroma-Zone, shown 1 coat over Sinful Colors Black on Black (2 coats). The shift in this polish isn’t as strong – I really hate having to look up-close on nails to see the effects.

I’m glad that I picked both of these up at Ross instead of full price at Sephora – I really don’t think either of them are special enough to splurge on. What do you think of these two, do you have a favorite?

  1. I really like the Sephora shade that looks like the night sky. I wish we had Ross around here. I’d love to pick that one up for less!

  2. It’s a shame the topper doesn’t give a strong color shift. I am totally with you if I have to look that close up for a special effect I probably won’t be thrilled with the polish. Kaleidoscope on the other hand is absolutely gorgeous!
