Good Monday morning, all! How was your weekend? We had a fun one with family on Sunday and on Saturday did some garage-saling and fun outings. I’ve also been powering through the Harry Potter series (again) just because. Today I have a fun manicure to show you featuring KBShimmer, Jessica Cosmetics, Pahlish, and ellagee.
I started off with 3 thin coats of Pahlish Star Upon Your Shoulder (Bespoke Batch) on my index and ring fingers. On my middle finger, I used 2 coats of KBShimmer Dressed to Gild. Lastly, on my pinky (and thumb), I started with 2 coats of Jessica Cosmetics Sharktooth before using chevron nail vinyls and ellagee My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights.
I have to admit, I wore this for about 4 days before I finally had to take it off. It was so sparkly and pretty, I just loathed to get rid of it!
Have you been reading or re-reading any favorite books lately? I’m on book 6 of the HP series, so I’m looking for something else to read soon – leave me your favorites in the comments!
That blue is just gorgeous! Everything in this skittle just works so well together.
Love this mani! All the colours go so well together. I haven’t done much reading lately s we are working our way through Game Of Thrones (season 4 now) but I loved The Hunger Games books – a must read!
This manicure is just perfection! I adore the colours, glitters and patterns you used. And yes, you don’t need a reason to read HP, because HP is the reason. I recently finished the Divergent series and am now reading Magnetar, which hasn’t come out in English (yet) and is written by a friend of mine!
Gorgeous manicure! Love the colors and the combination! ❤
Love this!! Skittlettes are one of favorite ways to do manis. I’ve reread HP a lot last year.. not so much this year, though. I’ll rewatch the movies in a heartbeat, though!
Love this skittlette! The only books I currently read are Llama Llama and other toddler books.
I absolutely love this mani!! It’s perfect in so many ways!
I started to re-read the A Song of Ice & Fire series but my husband made fun of me (it would have been my 4th time through them). So I’ve been reading The Camel Club series from David Baldacci. I want to re-read the Harry Potter books but I need to fork over the $$ for the digital copies since I prefer to read on my phone/Kindle now.
Gorgeous mani! I love Harry Potter! I’ve read the series probably ten times now, and after reading your post I feel like I am going to have to read it again this summer. Haha.
So pretty! i love this!
I love that chevron!
I love your whole mani but I need Dressed to Gild!!! So beautiful.
I’m reading Song of Susannaha by Steven King in his Dark Tower series
This color combo is everything! Gold and turquoise are the best when combined.
I want these nails pronto! Love everything about this skittlette. Everything!
Thanks Shelby!
That Pahlish is to die for! Love the mani!
Isn’t it such a great polish?
These are awesome! I love the colors together (:
Thank you! 🙂
That’s a lovely mani! I really read too little lately 😦
such a gorgeous combo!
Thank you, Cheyenne!
I don’t blame you for keeping this on for a while, it’s totally cute! I love the sparkle and that teal color.
Thanks! Sometimes I hate being a blogger and having to take off manis! LOL
i love a good skittlette mani!
Thanks Amy!
Star Upon Your Shoulder and Dressed to Gild look amazing together!
I’m reading The Lord of the Rings at the moment. I’ve seen the movies but it’s the first time I’m reading it. I’d recommend Sabriel by Garth Nix though – lots of magic and undead!
Ooh, my husband has “read” (aka listened on audio) the LOTR book and tells me I should too, but I’m a little intimidated!
They are a little heavier in comparison to HP, but they’re really cool as well and of course there is some stuff that’s left out of the movies. I’m on book 2 now!
I need to step back into the HP series because I never finished them!!! I simply adore this look that you did and I don’t blame you for not wanting to remove it, I wouldn’t either!! I love how you added the black and white zig zag accent!
Thanks Dani! I hope you get a chance to jump back into the HP books!
Have you read the dragon tattoo series? It’s one of my total faves.

Love this color scheme! …I’m kind of weird in that I read two or three books simultaneously and Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter are always in that rotation!
