KBShimmer Big Tan On Campus + Sweet Wave swatch + review

Good afternoon! I’m sorry for the late post but I’ve been messing around with eyeshadows for a few days and I’m super frustrated! I saw this tip on Nouveau Cheap about a magnetic DIY palette for your eyeshadows. “Great!” says I…except the part where it hasn’t been working. I went out and purchased magnetic tape today in hopes of making the individual pans stay, but that’s not working either because the adhesive isn’t very strong. GRRR.

Anyway, let’s take a look at two pretty KBShimmer polishes: Big Tan on Campus and Sweet Wave.

Big Tan on Campus is a golden bronze tan holographic polish. I used 3 thin coats for this polish plus top coat.

In the sunshine, this is one seriously stunning polish!

I decided to pair Sweet Wave with this because, well, why not? Sweet Wave is a clear base polish with glitters of “white, periwinkle and mint hex glitters swim among yellow and coral glitters of various sizes.” This is just a fun and happy combo to me!

Big Tan on Campus is discontinued but Sweet Wave is still available from kbshimmer.com.

I’d love to know what you think of either polish, but more importantly, have you ever de-potted eyeshadows before? Any tips or tricks that I need to know about?
