Sparkly Beachy Skittlette Manicure

Good Monday morning all! I hope you had a fine weekend. πŸ™‚ I cleaned up my whole house and man, do I feel better walking through it today. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and I don’t have to be grumpy because the house is messy. *happy sigh* Today I have a fun skittlette for you that I’m calling “beachy” only because it kind of seems that way to me.

I started off with 2 coats of Finger Lickin’ Lacquer Quite Contrary (press sample) on my pointer finger, then used Wet N Wild Listening to Blue Reed and a Blank Canvas for the flower, sticking some nail art beads in it while it was still wet.

On my middle and pinky fingers, I started off with 3 coats of Carpe Noctem Cosmetics Kintsukuroi, adding an additional 2 coats of KBShimmer Dressed to Gild on my middle finger, and creating dots withΒ Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See on my pinky finger.

On my ring finger, I started off with Wet N Wild Listening to Blue Reed and creating a gradient with Teal Slowly and See and A Blank Canvas.

This wasn’t my favorite nail art I’ve ever done, but it was sparkly enough to keep me happy for a few days! πŸ™‚ I hope you enjoyed it too.

I’d love to hear about your weekend, so drop a line in the comments below.

  1. Pretty! I really like that flower! I appreciate the feeling of a clean house, too. That’s what I’ll be spending my day off tomorrow working on – spring is here!
