Watermarble Nail Art with B Squared Lacquer EDM collection

Happy Monday to you, all my amazing readers! I hope you had the best weekend. Not much happened here on my end, just the same old “do laundry so people have things to wear” routine. 😉 Since it’s Monday, let’s kick it off with something bright and cheerful: a neon water marble!

I’ve used all of the polishes from B Squared Lacquer’s EDM nail polish collection. I had been really wanting this collex for a long time and awhile back, I finally sprang for it. This is a 6-piece collection and I will have swatches for you tomorrow! But for now, let’s get to the photos. 🙂

First, the lightbox photos. I did use a white base for the water marble and I’ll show you the difference between using a white base and not using it. On my left thumb, I did not use a white base:

On my right thumb, I did use a white base:

Yes, it is still bright without a white base, but *with* a white base it pops even more. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to have their manicure be even more bright and obnoxious?

Now, the sun shot photos. Ooohhh yeah…hot obnoxious manicure!! Yes, I did have quite the fun times annoying my husband by sticking my fingers in his face and saying “Lookit how bright they are!!”

Lastly, the natural light photos. I love these photos because they truly show how bright this manicure was just in “normal” light.

I had no problems getting these polishes to water marble, I think they spread fairly well. I also had ample time to make my design in the water – the polishes didn’t seem to dry out too fast. The B Squared Lacquer EDM collection is currently sold out (as a collection), but 4 of the polishes are available individually as of this writing. Spoiler alert for tomorrow’s post: You’re going to want to buy them all. 😉

I’d love to know how your weekend went, so holler at me in the comments!
