KBShimmer Low & Be Bold + Ice Queen swatch + review

Purchased by Me buttonGood morning! Later post this morning…I swatched about 40 polishes over the weekend break, and now I’m having a hard time deciding which polishes to show you next. 😛 So, I decided to go with something beautiful and sparkly!

KBShimmer Low and Be Bold | Be Happy And Buy Polish

KBShimmer Low & Be Bold is described as “a bright near cobalt, ultramarine and flow blue, with slightly more of a reddish undertone.” I had the darnedest time taking a photo of this!

It isn’t as quite as bright as the lightbox photo, not as dark as the natural light photo. This is 2 coats, no top coat, with a squishy type of formula but full coverage.

KBShimmer Ice Queen is described as “holographic glitters float in an  almost clear polish, slightly silver blue in color, with micro fine  glitter, hex glitters and scattering of large  diamond glitter.” The sparkle in this is just freaking crazy! This is 1 coat over Low & Be Bold, no dabbing required.

This polish combination is just so springy and makes me want to sit outside in the sun and gentle breeze. Maybe with a nice Citron & Sprite. 😉

If you haven’t yet picked either of these up from KBShimmer.com, I really recommend that you do so. You won’t regret it! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

  1. Okay wow, I love both of the polishes (especially that gorgeous blue) but I’ll admit the thing that caught my attention here was the swatching about 40 polishes. You have some serious patience!

    • Oh my gosh, Rachel, I just needed to power through. haha! I admit, I feel so much better knowing that there aren’t polishes lurking on my desk saying “Soon”. LOL 😛

  2. You swatched 40 polishes! I only did 6 these last few days and the thought of editing all the photos I took is overwhelming. I cant imagine having to edit photos for 40. I hope you gave your cuticles a lot of TLC, mine would be a disaster. I didnt know Low and Be Bold had a squishy finish to it, is it too opaque to do a jelly sandwich with?

    • I think it would be, since I had full coverage in 2 coats. It’s so strange how that works out! LOL.

I did give my hands and nails lots of TLC….I’d swatch 9 or so, take a day’s break, do more the next day, etc. I have photos edited & cropped, now I just need to watermark. *phew*
