Good morning everyone! I apologize for missing the past few days; on top of having a bad cough, whatever my mystery illness was from last month seems to have returned – which leaves me feeling tired, exhausted, and nauseous. I’m doing my best to swatch in the downtime, but sitting and typing is a little beyond me right now.
At any rate, I have a fun and bright polish to show you today: Sally Hansen Frutti Petutie. I picked this up from Big Lots awhile back for a $1 and well, I just can’t pass that kind of deal by!
This is 2 easy coats of this polish with no top coat. Isn’t it just seriously bright and springy? In my photo, I did have a bit of visible nail line, but in person, it wasn’t really noticeable. I’d love to know your thoughts on this!
A few announcements: this afternoon, I’ll be guest-posting over at Phyrra.net while she’s recuperating from eye surgery (direct link) – be sure to come check out my nail art!
My second announcement is a bit more serious. Many of you know that my mom passed away a few years ago. Last year I decided to honor her memory by performing random acts of kindness (RAOK) in my city, on the anniversary of her death (March 14). I’m doing it again this year, and I invite you to join me. If you’d like to keep up with what I’ll be doing, you can search for the hashtag #RAOK4LUCY.
Well, that’s it for me today! I hope you have a fantastic day and I’ll talk to you soon,
