Sally Hansen Greige Gardens + Vintage Confetti swatches + review

Purchased by Me buttonGood morning, my patient readers! I know you’re probably tired of me talking about being ill, and I am too, so let’s just get on with a polish that I surprisingly liked. πŸ™‚

Sally Hansen Greige Gardens | Be Happy And Buy Polish

First though, is Sally Hansen Greige Gardens, a really nice purple grey polish. Nothing really special, but I bought it for $1, so you can never go wrong with that! This is 2 coats, no top coat.

I also had picked up Vintage Confetti, not realizing there was hairy glitter in it! But, I am actually liking how it looks with the rest of the glitters.

This is 1 coat plus some dabbing. I think it helps that there aren’tΒ too many of the hairy glitters, so I don’t mind them too much. LOL!

I want to thank you all for the wonderful comments you’ve left lately, and once I’m feeling up to speed, I will respond to them. πŸ™‚ I’d love to know your thoughts on this polish combination!

  1. “hairy glitter” you are funny! I love both these polishes. I think Greige Gardens is pretty special on its own, too bad it is HTF in stores now. Vintage Confetti is fun and unique glitter mix, and I think it does best over neutrals, to bring out all the faded pink pieces. GG was a perfect choice of undies! nice job, and wishing you hot tea and naps on a cozy couch.

  2. Love, love, love the color combo. I have had Vintage Confetti sitting in a drawer unused because I could never figure out what base to use. Never would of thought of grey that’s for sure lol. It’s perfect!

  3. OH I hope you start to feel better soon! Im also not a far of the bar glitters but I agree it goes well with this polish. Im kind of digging that base color too, but not sure I would wear it on it’s own. You cant pass up a $1 polish though!

  4. I’m with you – I’m usually super anti-bar/hairy glitter, but these shorter pieces aren’t as offensive to me! I like the combo of colors and shards, and it looks great over that grey!

  5. I love this combo!
Love the shimmer in the grey and I love the shredded golden confetti! So perfect!
