Jade Polish Special Glitz in Black Tie swatches + review

Good morning again, lacquer lovers! I hope you are well. I am not, but I’m trying to just suck it up and deal with it. LOL. That phrase “suck it up” takes me back to high school when a friend would say that any time we would be complaining. Anyway, today I have a polish from a new-to-me brand, Jade Polish, from their “Special Glitz” line: Black Tie.

Jade Black Tie | Be Happy And Buy Polish

Contrary to its name, Black Tie is actually more of a brown-black polish, shot through with gold glitters and holographic glitters that provide a holographic effect.

I’ve used 3 coats here, with Wet n Wild top coat. One thing I did notice with the two I purchased from llarowe (on sale) was that the brushes are incredibly nice. They are a bit wide (not as wide as say Wet N Wild’s MegaLast polishes) but they spread the polish so wonderfully on the nail.

These are odd shaped bottles that have only 8ml of product (compared to most U.S. nail polishes that have 15ml).  I did also notice a bit of a smell, it wasn’t overpowering but I definitely did notice it.

All in all, I’m really happy with my first experience of Jade Polish, and I will be buying more in the future. You can purchase Black Tie on llarowe. Have you ever tried Jade Polish before?

So I’m off to look through my high school yearbook now that I’ve started a trip down memory lane. What’s something you remember from your high school years?

  1. This is beautiful! There was a girl in our class who brought us a big bunch of balloons on our birthday every year. We would have to carry it around all day resulting in people wishing us all day as they saw us in the corridors. It’s a fond memory!

  2. Super pretty! The whole 8 ml thing has been what’s been stopping me from trying Jade polishes but I guess I can’t really complain with the price, especially if it comes with a good brush!
