Serum No 5 Friendly Tiffs, Glowin’ of Eden, Infrared swatches + review

Purchased by Me buttonGood afternoon, my beautiful readers! 🙂 I have three polishes from a new-to-me brand, Serum No 5, to show you today: Infrared, Glowin’ of Eden, and Friendly Tiffs.

*Programming Note* I had quite a few polishes I wasn’t able to show you in 2015, so I’ll be trying to get those posted over the next couple of weeks.

To start off, Serum No 5 have shorter brush handles (stems? what do you call that, I’m blanking!) and brushes in their polishes that I’m used to. It isn’t a big deal, but just something I thought I’d  note. All swatches shown with Serum No 5 A Need For Speed top coat. None of my glow in the dark shots came out, but my black light shots did, so I’ve included those.

First up is Infrared, a super bright red coral polish that glows in the dark. Wowzers is all I’ve got to say! This is 3 coats, thinner of a formula than the other 2.

Next is Glowin’ of Eden, a lovely minty green glow in the dark polish. This has a bit of a thick formula, shown here in 3 coats:

It doesn’t glow quite as blue as is shown here.

Last is Friendly Tiffs, a beautiful Tiffany blue polish. I thought I’d show you the bottle shot first so you could see the flecks and shimmer up close:

Now, my camera stinks at taking photos of the Tiffany blue-green polishes, but just trust me that this is definitely the Tiffany blue. This is 3 coats:

What are your thoughts of these three polishes? I have to say that having a cool GITD polish like Glowin’ of Eden has made me popular with my kids. I used it and a black polish for nail art when I went rollerskating with my boyo and he absolutely loved it. He kept asking to look at my nails!

The quick dry top coat, A Need For Speed, must not agree with my nail chemistry or something, because it definitely was not quick drying for me.

The customer service was great from Serum No 5, I was overcharged on shipping, but refunded the difference.  Have you tried out any Serum No 5 polishes yet? Any recommendations?

  1. Love this post! Serum will always be one of my faves – I guess I never noticed the brush handle difference since she was one of the first indies I bought, but I do love the flat brush (although not everyone does lol). I don’t have kiddos to share any glow shots with but it always intrigues my husband when he sees the glow in the middle of the night 😛

  2. Oh.My.I need Infrared in my life….try Happy Special Day! Seriously the most amazing happiest glitter topper ever. Every bottle is different and every time you use it the nails look different. It is seriously the happiest nail polish ever. I’ve re-purchased it because it’s so amazing!
