China Glaze miscellaneous polishes

Purchased by Me buttonGood morning, how is your weekend going this morning? I hope you are ringing in the new year in a fun way! I have quite a few China Glaze polishes to show you today, let’s take a look!

*Programming Note* I had quite a few polishes I wasn’t able to show you in 2015, so I’ll be trying to get those posted over the next couple of weeks.Β

China Glaze All Aboard, 2 coats, no top coat. Lovely dusty purple!

China Glaze Givers Theme, 2 coats, no top coat. I am so glad I got my hands on this perfectly bright purple.

China Glaze Well Trained, 2 coats, no top coat. Formula was a bit thin, though it was almost a OCW. I’m kind of “meh” on this one.

China Glaze History of the World, 2 coats, no top coat. It’s a dusty blue-purple, more blue than purple.

China Glaze Trendsetter, 2 coats. I really only purchased this because of Love. Varnish, chocolate and more’s stamping with it, but I ended up really loving it. It does dry really quickly though.

China Glaze Ahoy!, 2 coats. Love the sparkle in this pink polish!

China Glaze Stroll, 2 coats. Deep red and vampy, yummmm!

China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic, 2 coats, no top coat. This has a great color change going on that I couldn’t capture.

Out of all of these, I really love Rodeo Fanatic. It is just gorgeous! I’m really lucky, my local beauty supply store has a ton of older China Glaze polishes and I get to peruse to my heart’s content. πŸ™‚

Which one of these do you like? Would you have picked up Trendsetter?

  1. For whatever reason,ChG has never been a brand I’ve paid much attention to so seeing all your swatch spam is a real treat πŸ™‚ I really dig how Trendsetter looks on you!

  2. I love them all. I think CG is like my comfort blanket brand. Any time I feel bored with what’s out there, I can go to my dusties and pick up all the super old polishes that were before my hoarding time. They really had some bombshell collections in the past and I can imagine how different they seemed at the time.

    • They really do have some amazing polishes from old collections, one reason why I’m so glad my beauty supply place has a ton of them. LOL. But of course, they don’t have the *really* good ones. πŸ˜›

      • What are the really good ones? The super ancient ones? One of the nail places that I’ve been to, must have ancient polishes. It’s literally a warehouse. It’s about an hour away (or more with LA traffic), so I don’t usually go. Sometimes I think I need to take a little stool so I can sit there and go through every single rack. I know they must have some good shit hidden in there. It’s just so overwhelming.

  3. I ended up skipping most of CS collex last year minus a couple from the All Aboard set. I just wasn’t mad on them. I do like Well Trained but I keep hearing warning sirens that it would be a stained. Was it?

  4. I love when you do these random swatchfest kind of posts πŸ˜€ All of these polishes look lovely on you, I may have to scroll back through for another drool and then to update my CG wishlist. I am still sad that we never got any of The Giver collection here in the UK.
