Good morning everyone! I hope you’re having a great day. With holiday parties and festivities coming up, I wanted to bring you some of the Beauty Blog Coalition members’ favorite holiday polishes or polish combos. There is something here for everyone, so click through after the collage to read our recommendations!
To kick us off, I’m sharing one of my favorite holiday combinations: bright blue and silver! I’ve used Pahlish The Moon is an Egg as a base, with Pahlish The Clock is Striking Twelve’s as a glitter topper. You could also do a silver base with blue glitter.
Now let’s check out more BBC members’ recommendations – and if you click the photos below it will take you to that blogger’s specific post on that polish combo.
Stephanie from All Things Beautiful XO: “OPI Alcatraz…Rocks + Solitaire Liquid Sand is still one of my favorites- it looks just like a FROZEN inspired mani when combined!”
Lisa from Cosmetic Sanctuary: “Every year it changes and it’s usually not traditional. This year I’ve been wearing OPI Snow Globetrotter over OPI I Carol About you!”
Katherine from Procrastinails: “Zoya Veruschka (on it’s own or in combo with other greens and golds).”
Brigitte from Color Me So Crazy: “My favorite polish to wear is something that is durable, vampy and able to be worn in a variety of combinations. Something like polish from the Zoya Wishes 2014 Collection which has a variety of colors and can stand up against cooking, opening presents and stills looks great in any combination I wear them in. I chose to wear Imogen and Haven from the collection for a great double accent nail Holiday combination.”
Stephanie From A Little Polish: “I’m currently loving 2 shades from the China Glaze Twinkle Collection – Define Good & Chillin’ with my Snow-mies.”
Jamie from The Beauty of Life: “Shimmer, shimmer, SHIMMER! (Especially this one.) I love Deborah Lippmann Believe because it’s the perfect combo of gold and silver. It goes with every single item in my holiday wardrobe!”
Kirby from The Mercurial Magpie: “I love a good gold flake top coat over red during the holidays.”
Norah from Norah Loves Makeup: “Londontown Lakur 2014 METALLIC COLLECTION”
Marcia from Beauty Info Zone: “Color Me Monthly Roasted Chestnuts”
Nidia from Lit From Within: “Red and silver – China Glaze Phat Santa and any silver, but I used A-England Encore Margot.”
Harshleen from Beauty Tidbits: “Zoya Nail Polish in India and Essie 2014 Luxeffects Topcoats in Summit of Style.”
