Fall-ing For Nail Art Challenge: Fall Foods

Good morning all! Today’s prompt is “fall foods” and I decided to go with one of my husband’s favorite Thanksgiving foods: sweet potato and marshmallow casserole!

Sweet Potato Nail Art | Be Happy And Buy Polish

I started off with OPI Can’t Afjord Not To, then sponged OPI Where Did Suzi’s Man-go on top of that. For the marshmallows, I used OPI Alpine Snow, then Going My Way or Nor-way and Wooden Shoe Like to Know for the toasted part.

Let’s see what other yummy foods we can look at today:

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post! I’ll see you tomorrow for fall colors!

  1. So cute! Those marshmallows look perfectly toasted!

It’s weird, as an adult I’ve come to love sweet potatoes but as a kid I couldn’t stand them and no amount of melted marshmallow goodness would convince me to put that vile orange paste in my mouth. To be honest, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t eat it today either, given that the marshmallow would probably put me off, but I’d gladly eat a baked sweet potato with just some butter and a dash of salt on it!

  2. You know what I’d really love? To be able to spend Thanksgiving with someone sometime. We don’t celebrate the holiday here and all the food always sounds so amazing!

  3. I can’t get my head around the idea of a sweet potato and marshmallow casserole. And that’s coming from the woman who will happily eat a cheese and jam toasted sarnie!

  4. You totally have me craving sweet potato casserole right now. Would you believe me if I told you that when I was younger that I HATED sweet potatoes? I only started liking them when Mark and I first started dating and his mom fixed them at Thanksgiving!!

    • I did pie last year and I almost did it again this year. I was racking my brain trying to think of something when my husband mentioned this dish in passing. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
