Nail Art Inspired by Glamour-Zine’s Outfit of the Day

Good morning friends! Today I have a nail art look that I created awhile back. I was inspired by Kristyn over at Glamour-Zine, who comes up with some really great and classy outfits. We are both Beauty Blog Coalition members, which is how I came to know & read her blog. Take a look at her outfit which I was inspired by (and click the photo to head to her post with full details):

Seriously, everything about this outfit screams “fierce coming through…outta the way!” If you take a peek at her blog post, those awesome shoes have studs that run along the back side of them, which take them to another level, in my opinion.

OPI Cajun Shrimp, Alcatraz Rocks, My Vampire is Buff | Be Happy And Buy Polish

For my manicure, I started with OPI Cajun Shrimp on my ring and pinky fingers. I’ve used OPI My Vampire is Buff (one of my favorite neutrals!) on my middle and pointer fingers, then using wave decals and OPI Alcatraz Rocks, I created a Β design. (This was also created on my thumb.)

I loved this so much, I wore it on both hands for a week! I’d love to know what you think of it. In a month or so, I’ll have another look inspired by Kristyn, and I can’t wait to show you that one! πŸ™‚

Where do you get inspired for your nails or your outfits? Let me hear it in the comments!

  1. Inspiration is EVERYWHERE!!! I’ve gotten inspiration from my kids’ clothes and throw pillows!!! Kristyn’s outfit is killer and the scenery behind her??!?! HOLY WOW!! You did a great job recreating her look and I can’t wait to see the next one!

  2. I love the idea of a fashion look-inspired mani. Cream with navy and bright red really makes the combo. I love the different colors and textures. Well done!
