Today I’m excited to share with you my review of Perlier’s Shea Butter White Lily Hand Cream. I had seen this on another blog, and I was unsure that I would like it – my nose is pretty sensitive to smells, unfortunately. Like – walk down the laundry soap aisle at the grocery store and get a freakin’ migraine – sensitive. Keep reading to see what I thought!
Here is the description from the back of the bottle:
So let’s get the smell out of the way first. Yes, it does smell strongly at first of flowers, but the smell settles in nicely (and quickly) and thereafter I could only smell it if I stuck my hand right up to my nose.
This is a thicker hand cream, which I prefer at night when I moisturize my hands. It also seems to be a bit greasy at first, which is okay with me because as I said I tend to use thicker hand creams at night before applying cuticle oil. The fact that it is a bit greasy seems to help the cuticle oil soak in faster.
Sometimes when I use hand creams when they are so dry, my hands get really irritated and burn; thankfully when I have used this product when my hands are really dry, I have had no irritation or burning.
I have also noticed that my hands don’t seem as aged or wrinkled on the backs of my hands. Sometimes my hands (especially in the winter) can look really rough and well…just plain old! LOL.
All in all, I’m very happy with the performance of this product. It is available through HSN for $24, which I believe is a good price for this hand cream. I’ve been using this almost daily for a month and a half, and it is about half-full still.
I’d love to know what your thoughts are about this hand cream! Have you tried it yet? Would this be something you’d buy?
