China Glaze Summer 2014 Off Shore collection (partial)

purchased myself button2014 favorite button | Be Happy And Buy PolishHi everyone! I am so so SO happy to back posting, I’ve missed blogging so much and I’ve missed all my regular readers and commentators! I did use my time wisely though, while I was away, and I have so many great posts lined up (and a giveaway too!).

Anyway, I have the China Glaze Off Shore collection for you today (I keep wanting to type “Off the Shore”, urgh!). I was able to pick up all these during a Sally Beauty 50% off sale, which means I basically spent under $10 for these ten polishes. I know there are 12 to the collection, so I don’t have Feel the Breeze or If In Doubt, Surf It Out. Click through after the collage to check my swatches out!

First up is Float On, a super bright pink with a tinge of peach to it. This is 2 coats, and I didn’t enjoy applying it at all. It was weirdly bubbly for some reason. (All swatches shown with top coat.)

Next is Dune Our Thing, a really pretty (but kind of basic) warm pink. This is 2 nice coats:

Up next is Seas the Day, a beautiful (if plain) red creme polish. This is 2 coats:

Stoked to Be Soaked is next, a very bright orange creme polish. This also was bubbly, with 2 coats:

Sun Upon My Skin is a warm, buttery yellow polish. This is 3 coats:

Next is Be More Pacific, another warm-toned creme polish. It’s a lovely minty color, but I used 2 thick coats because it was behaving streaky.

Shore Enuff is a bright green that I totally love but the formula was a bit streaky. This is 3 coats:

Up next is Wait N’ Sea, a bright blue that I can’t get enough of! This is 2 thick coats:

I Sea the Point is the next polish, and I had a hard time getting a color-accurate photo here. It’s definitely a blurple color, not as blue as it shows here. This is 2 coats:

Next is my favorite polish of the bunch, but the one I couldn’t get a good photo of: X-Ta-Sea. It is a more red and warmer polish than my photo shows. This is 2 absolutely perfect coats:

What a really lovely collection, right? I’m just wishing that a few of the colors weren’t so plain. I did end up using a few of these in a guest post I did for A Girl and Her Chicken Named Betty, so be sure to check that out! What are your favorite colors here? I’d love to know AND I’d love to know what you were up to in the week since I’ve “seen” you last. 🙂 Until tomorrow,

  1. It’s hard to choose… I Sea the Point is stunning, but Be More Pacific is a cute colour and that orange one is lovely orange too…
