OMD2 Nail Art Challenge: Outdoors

It’s Saturday! Woohoo! I hope you’re having a great day so far. Today’s prompt for the OMD2 challenge is “outdoors” and I have to admit that I was a little stumped for this. I decided to do an abstract sort of manicure. Let’s take a look:

OMD2 Nail Art Outdoors | Sinful Colors Red Tired, Rain Rubber, Face the Facets, Zoya Godiva | Be Happy And Buy Polish

So if you didn’t know, I decided to do a beach-y abstract mani. Sinful Colors Face the Facets to represent the sun, Sinful Colors Rain Rubber to represent the ocean, and then a sandcastle with Zoya Godiva and Sinful Colors Red Tired (background with Sinful Colors Beaches and Cream). Not quite sure if I like how it turned out though!

I’d love to know your thoughts before you go check out more manis at the link-up! Until the next time,

  1. Sandcastle? Yes I see it. I thought it was a funky lighthouse. I saw the water and sun right off though and knew this was beachy. Yes it is a much better sandcastle than lighthouse. Great abstract mani.

  2. I also could tell that was a sand castle. I have tons of SC polishes lol. Is that rain rubber and face the facets from a collection? Are they textured?

Great job! Cant wait for more!

  3. I immediately picked up beach theme but I couldn’t quite figure out why. I guess when you’re dealing with abstracts, that’s success, right? LOL I especially love the color blocked nails. That contrast is wonderful!
