OMD2 Nail Art Challenge: Roses

2014 favorite button | Be Happy And Buy PolishGood morning to you, good morning to you! My mom used to wake me up like that in a sing-song voice that I hated (not a morning person here). πŸ™‚ It’s Friday and I’m so excited to show you my nail art for today! The prompt is “roses” and it came out exactly like I envisioned it. I’ve been wanting to incorporate skulls into a nail art piece and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity!

OMD2 Nail Art Roses And Skulls | China Glaze Liquid Leather, Custom Kicks, Heli-yum | Be Happy And Buy Polish

I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze Custom Kicks, which is a great teal but is a hard one to take a picture of! I then used China Glaze Liquid Leather as a base for my roses and skulls, and then used CG Heli-yum to create shading. I love this so much, I did both hands!

I’d love to know what you think of my kind of macabre look today. Do you like it as much as I do? Don’t forget to click through to the link up to see more rosy looks for today. Until the next time,

  1. This is beautiful! Both skulls and roses are perfect. Especially love the transition of roses into skulls. Great combination and amazing freehand!
