OMD2 Nail Art Challenge: Fruit

Good afternoon everyone! Is your Thursday afternoon going well? I’m currently waiting for my contacts to finish cleaning (I stuck them in solution that you have to let sit for 6 hours), so I’m wearing my broke down glasses that I hate. LOL! I’m going to show you my fruit nail art and tell you what I’ve used – and THEN I’ll tell you what the nail art is supposed to be. I want to see if you’ll “get it”. πŸ™‚

OMD2 Nail Art DragonFruit | Milani Splendid Strawberry, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Black on Black, Mint Tropics | Be Happy And Buy Polish

For my pointer and pinky fingers, I’ve used Milani Splendid Strawberry with Sinful Colors Mint Tropics. For my middle and ring fingers, I’ve used Sinful Colors Β Snow Me White and Black on Black.

So have you guessed what fruit I’ve tried to do? Or do you give up? It’s a favorite fruit of mine: dragonfruit! Though, it doesn’t really look too much like it. LOL. You can check out a fruit basket of nail art by clicking through to the link-up. Until tomorrow,

  1. Oh [ OK now that I see a photo of what they look like I have seen then in a very few markets and not for eons since most markets where I live ditched any exotic fruits and lots of other products they might have carried years and years ago.

  2. Cute! I like the fact that you did a more abstract take on dragonfruit – it really makes for a unique look πŸ™‚
P.S. I have contacts like that too, and waiting for the solution to neutralize is the most annoying thing ever!!

  3. Dragonfruit! Nothing else has the black dots on white deliciousness… the first time my Dad brought it home when I was small, I screamed because it looked like a piggybank with weird scales all over.
