Good morning! Are you ready for this Tuesday? I think I am. π Today I have a fun abstract nail art design using Barielle nail polishes.
I started off with three coats of Barielle Panama Pina Colada. Then using Paradise in the Tropics (raspberry color), Head of the Class Green, and Designer’s Shoe (periwinkle), I created stripes going down my nail. I loaded up my brush with nail polish remover and wiped down every stripe so it was barely there. Then I created stripes going across my nail but didn’t wipe them with remover.
I quite like this fun and easy look! What are your thoughts? You can take a look at the other entries for today by clicking here. I’ll have the BBC Weekly Roundup later today for you (because I totally spaced it last night), so until then,
I was looking forward to seeing your take today’s challenge. LOVE the idea of wiping down the stripes with remover so they are barely there. I’ve got to try it, but knowing me, I’ll mostly wipe out half my entire mani… SMH
Thanks so much! Yeah, you just have to make sure your base color is dry before adding the stripes and then wiping them down with remover. Otherwise that base color is going to come right up. You could do a coat of top coat before adding stripes too!
I love the bright fun stripes and colors. Perfect!!
Thank you Amber! π
