Embrace Your Geekness Nail Art Challenge: Video Games

Hi! If you’re here through StumbleUpon, please check out my Doctor Who Nails, my Lego Movie nails, and my Humphrey Hop nail art. Don’t forget to follow me if you like what you see!

Good morning! Late morning today for me – I meant to get up at around 6 to get some swatching and photo editing done when it is cooler, but….I sort of slept in. :/ LOL.

Let’s get to today’s prompt of video games! My first video game that I remember playing was Duck Hunt. It was fun, at first, then came the frustration and that stupid dog laughing at me because I missed the duck. So, Duck Hunt it is for my nails!

I’ve used Précision Nail Lacquer Surfin’ in Maliblue for the background; then I used Sinful Colors Coffee, Snow Me White, Black on Black, Wet n Wild Stand the Test of Lime, OPI Where Did Suzi’s Man-go, and China Glaze 4-Leaf Clover.

My poor little duck looks a bit…off. LOL. I can’t wait to see the other manis for today:

I’d love to know your thoughts, let me hear them in the comments below! This afternoon, I’ll have another prompt for the OMD2 Nail Art Challenge, so until then,

  1. How absolutely cute! Your duck definitely looks like a duck. If I did a freehand duck it would end up looking like… a table or something.

  2. Cute. I remember Duck Hunt, we had some kind of laser gun that you aimed at the screen. Your duck is great. Great detail for how tiny he is.

  3. OMG I used to LOVE that game! Did you ever find the sweet spot on your tv where you could put the gun right against the tv and it would hit no matter where the duck was? I used to play for hours and then die for a stupid reason so I’d cheat to get back where I was lol. Anyway thanks for the nostalgia! Your duck is awesome. That hound won’t be snickering at these!

Thanks for commenting, I love hearing from you! If you want me to check out your blog, email me, instead of leaving your blog link in your comment.
