Sinful Colors Summer 2014 Texture Nail Polishes

purchased myself button2014 favorite button | Be Happy And Buy PolishGood morning lovely readers! I hope you are having a great day. I couldn’t wait to show you these trio of polishes from Sinful Colors. I swatched them a few days ago, and just had to show them to you pronto! They are new this summer, and they are all textured. Make sure you read all the way to the end for some nail art!
Sinful Colors Face the Facets, Orange Crush, Ruby Mine | Be Happy And Buy Polish Sinful Colors Face the Facets is an amazing yellow. (I know, an amazing yellow?!) Seriously, this is one of my must-haves for this summer. Bright, cheerful, not too obnoxious, and perfect in 2 coats.

Sinful Colors Orange Crush is another cheerful polish and perfect in 2 coats. I mean, as far as oranges go, this is really nice. 😛

Sinful Colors Ruby Mine is a great red polish that straddles between pink and red, with awesome gold shimmer. This was the only one that gave me a bit of trouble, it seems to be thinner than the other two and was easy to flood my cuticles. This is 2 careful coats. [Edit: Ruby Mine was actually released last year as part of the SC Crystal Crushes line, which I believe was a Rite-Aid thing.]

I decided to use all three for some bright negative space nail art.

  1. Wait Sinful Colors has textured polishes! I know I took a break from blogging but I wasnt living under a rock. How did I miss these. I agree with you that is a great yellow and the others are nice a bright. *Drops everything to go run to Walgreens*

  2. wow, these are so pretty and bright. Do you have the OPI Brazil Sandies? Just wondering how the yellow and red ones compare. Definitely need to pick up the orange.

    • I’m So Flip Floppy is similar to Face the Facets but seems to have less sparkle. Face the Facets is closer to Nicole by OPI’s Lemon Lolly. Ruby Mine is less similar to I’m So Brazil Nuts Over You. I’m So Brazil Nuts Over You is more pink. Ruby Mine is way more red. It’s similar to OPI Magazine Cover Mouse and Essence Me & My Lover.

Great swatches! That nail art is fantastic.

      • Thanks Lorraine! I don’t have the OPI Brazil minis, but I’m glad Christa jumped in and commented! Ruby Mine is similar to OPI MCM like Christa said, but if I remember correctly, MCM didn’t have the gold-ish shimmer that Ruby Mine does. (But, my memory is awful!)

Thanks so much Christa, I really do appreciate you chiming in on comparisons!
