Good morning my wonderful readers! I hope you are having the most gorgeous day. It’s going to be a hot one today, so I’m trying to hurry up and get errands done this morning so I don’t have to be out in the heat this afternoon. Onto the polishes!
Today I have two amazing polishes for you: CrowsToes Bifrost and Nidavellir. This is from the new 9 Realms collection, purchased from Llarowe. I saw so many swatches of the collection that I just had to pick up a few (okay, five!). I have taken so many pictures that having them all in one post would be impossible, so I’m going to split them into a few posts. Click through after the collage to see more pics & my review!
CrowsToes Bifrost is a multi-colored glitter that is opaque in 3 coats. Shown here is with 2 coats of KBShimmer Clearly on Top. I kept thinking of Mardi Gras colors when I looked at it, it seems like purple, gold, and green are the dominant colors; but there are other colors in there as well. This is such a sparkly color!
CrowsToes Nidavellir is a color-shifting polish that shifts from deep purple, to magenta, to blue, to teal. Absolutely gorgeous polish! I just moved my fingers around in the sunshine to see all the prettiness. This is 3 coats, with 1 coat of Clearly on Top.
Capturing the teal shift of this polish was near impossible, but just imagine the teal you see above all over the nail. There was also a very slight shift into a burnt reddish color, but again, impossible to capture all across the nail. You can see in a few shots above a bit of that color though.
I do really recommend that you use a peel-off base coat with either of these polishes. I used Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter-A-Peel for Bifrost, but not for Nidavellir, and the clean-up for Nidavellir was a huge pain. Glitters/shimmer was literally everywhere.
