Spring Renewal Nail Art Challenge: Freestyle

2014 favorite button | Be Happy And Buy PolishGood Sunday morning to you! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend so far. Today is the last day of the Spring Renewal Nail Art Challenge and it’s freestyle/recreate today. I chose freestyle – let’s see what I’ve done.

I have to admit that I was stumped with what to do today until I started going through my pinterest – and someone had uploaded a photo of stained glass, and I thought “AHA!” I decided to do stained glass nails! I started off with 2 coats of Wet N Wild A Blank Canvas, funnily enough for a blank canvas to my nails! πŸ˜‰ For the outlining, I used WnW Black Creme. For the lily nail, I’ve used WnW Here Comes Trouble as the blue background, and then WnW Poison Ivy for the leaves & stem.

The rest of the colors I’ve used: Jessica Cosmetics Yellow Lightning, Jessica Cosmetics Ocean Bloom; Wet n Wild Clock Strikes Orange, Listening to Blue, Teal Slowly & See, Stand the Test of Lime, Who is Ultra Violet; Sephora by OPI High Maintenance, Why Yellow There. You should have seen my packed nail polish work table!

I have to admit that this nail artΒ isΒ probably my favorite nail art that I’ve done in quite some time. Even though it took me 2 hours for this hand (and yes, I did a modified version of this on my right hand, and yes another 2 hours for that!), I have to say that I’m really ridiculously happy with how they came out. I absolutely cannot wait to see everyone’s post for today!

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing everyone’s nails today! If you’re celebrating today, I hope you have a very lovely start to your Easter season. πŸ™‚ Until tomorrow,
