Good morning everyone! Since the Pahlish restock is happening through the weekend, it’s a perfect day to show you the second part of their “All of Time and Space” Doctor Who nail polish collection. If you missed the swatches of the February Duo, which is also Doctor Who inspired, click here.
All polishes are with 2 coats, and except for the holographic polishes, I’ve also used A Girl Obsessed Matte-ict top coat, then AGO Magpie Shine with each polish. Descriptions are from each polish’s page on pahlish.com.
First up, Crimson, Eleven, Delight, Petrichor, “simultaneously inspired by Idris as the host of the TARDIS Matrix and Amy Pond’s Petrichor perfume advertisements.” This is described as a “delicate creamy pink base with a mix of neon coral, neon pink, watermelon, and fuchsia glitters in a mix of matte and metallic with an accent of shimmery red flakes.”
Next is Cross My Hearts, inspired by The Doctor’s promise to Merry, Queen of Years. This is an “oxblood red jelly with red metallic and iridescent violet flakes along with a subtle warm purple shimmer.”
Next up is My Bespoke Psychopath, inspired by this exchange between River Song and The Doctor:
“River: Oh mummy, mummy, pay attention. I was trained and conditioned for one purpose. I was born to kill the Doctor.
The Doctor: Demon’s Run. Remember? This is what they were building. My bespoke psychopath.
River: I’m all yours, sweetie.”
This is described as a “rich purple jelly with a strong liner holographic finish with an accent of rich red metallic flakes.” I’ve paired this one with a lightning bolt of Pahlish Ghost Shift on the ring finger. Beware that this is a blue stainer – so triple up on base coat.
Lightbox, no flash:
The Oldest Question is next, inspired by the first question, the oldest question in the universe. This is a “neutral grey jelly with a mix of metallic copper hex and gold circles set against a rich coppery shimmer.”
Raggedy Man, Good Night is inspired by Amy Pond’s last farewell to The Doctor. This is described as a “very dark charcoal (almost black) holographic finish with a mix of rich copper shimmer and violet iridescent flakes.”
Lightbox, no flash:
Lastly, This Song is Ending, inspired by Ood Sigma, singing the Doctor to sleep. This is a “rich turquoise cream with soft red metallic shimmer.” This is also a stainer, so again, triple up on base coat.
These can be purchased at pahlish.com, and you can keep up with them through Facebook, instagram, and their blog. What are your favorites here? I’d love to know! Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a bottle of The Devil Wears Polish Chromantic!
