Purchased by Me button2014 favorite button | Be Happy And Buy PolishGood morning all! I hope you are having a great day. Our weather has turned snowy and cold again, so I’m hibernating (again). Today’s post is all the polishes from pahlish’s “All of Time and Space” Doctor Who nail polish collection (part one). Warning: this post is pic heavy! Here’s a peek of all the polishes in this post, if you want more, hit the jump.

First I have to say that though I’m relatively new to the fandom, I absolutely love Doctor Who. My favorite Doctor is Number Nine (Christopher Eccleston) and so far my favorite companion is a toss up between Rose and Donna. The episode that really clinched being a fan for me is “A Good Man Goes To War.” Okay, fandom out of the way, let’s look at some pretties! (Descriptions from pahlish are in quotations.) I had no problems with any of the formulas, all applied well. I do want to note that Mad Man With a Box will stain nails & skin, though.

First up in this collection is Bad Wolf. This is inspired by Rose’s transformation into “Bad Wolf” on Satellite Five. This is a “soft mushroom taupe creme loaded with reddish violet shimmer and flakes.” Shown here is 2 coats.

Next is Forest of the Dead, inspired by “the Vashta Nerada; the shadows that melt the flesh; and their infestation of The Library”. This is a “deep green jelly base packed with coppery metallic flakes and bright green duochrome shimmer.” Shown here is 2 coats.  I love how it looks matte-fied!

Ghost Shift is up next, and is inspired by Cybermen armor. This is a “darkened silver holographic with gunmetal grey and iridescent purple microflakes that pop out in lower lighting, while the holographic effect is stronger in bright lighting.” Shown is 2 coats. I literally stared at my nails for awhile when I had this on.

Lullabye Without End is next, and is inspired by “Queen of Years and her performance of the Long Song.” (I haven’t seen that episode so don’t spoil it for me!) This is a “vivid coral red jelly that leans pink with soft shimmer and blue metallic glitter accented with iridescent orange hex.” I also love this one matte-fied, but I also didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do! Shown here is 3 thin coats.

Then we have Mad Man With a Box. I’ve shown you this before, but I re-swatched it for this post. The name comes from a quote of the Doctor’s: “Amy Pond, there’s something you’d better understand about me cause it’s important, and one day your life may depend on it: I am definitely a mad man with a box!” This is “a smokey navy blue jelly loaded with metallic gold flakes and blue glass-fleck shimmer.” Shown here is 2 coats.

Lastly is So Not Married, inspired by Donna’s exclamations that her & the Doctor are “so not married.” This is a “deep black jelly base packed with intense red shimmer and rich gold flakes.” In the sunlight, this looks like a deep bronze, it’s so pretty! This is 2 coats.

Phew! I hope you’ve made it this far. I honestly can’t pick a favorite out of these, at all. I’m so glad that I ended up buying all of them! If you missed it, I also reviewed the January Duo, which was Doctor Who inspired, here. What are your thoughts on this set? Did you pick any up, or have I enticed you to pick any up? You’re in luck because the restock happens tomorrow night at 7pm Central time at pahlish.com. Part two of “All of Time and Space” will be launched February 7, and so far the sneak peeks have me putting aside my money! You can keep up with pahlish on their facebook page and instagram account.

Until tomorrow,

  2. I am loving this collection! I picked up So Not Married!, Forest of the Dead, Mad Man with a Box, and Lullaby without End (No spoilers, but The Doctor’s speech in this one is one of my all time favorites… It gives me chills). I love Doctor Who, so I’m a sucker for any polishes related to it!
