Vapid Lacquer review

press sampleGood afternoon everyone! I apologize for the late post today, but I’ve been having so much fun sharing the love on my facebook page that I…well, I lost all track of time!

I have 2 polishes and a top coat to review for you today from Vapid Lacquer (from Smelly Goods & Pretties). Krys sent me 2 polishes for the Radiant Orchid series, and then also included 2 other polishes and her topcoat for me to review! Isn’t that just awesome?!

First up is Nude-Itude, a great neutral camel color. This reminds me so much of a camel-colored coat a sibling had when I was younger. This is 3 thin coats, topped with the Quick Dry top coat.

Next is Derple, a purple base with scattered & linear holo. I absolutely love this color! This is 2 coats, also topped with the Quick Dry top coat. I do need to note that I had reddish staining when I removed this, so you need to double up with a good base coat. (Krys is aware of the staining.)

Last, just a note about the Quick Dry top coat. This is a good top coat, similar to HK Girl. It doesn’t dry as fast as HK Girl, but it does dry within 2-3 minutes. I didn’t have any problem with application, and the formula is good – not too thick but not thin and runny.

What are your thoughts about this polishes? I’d love to hear them! You can check out more polishes, and soaps at her shop on bigcartel. Be sure to keep up with Vapid Lacquer on her facebook page, and instagram. You’ll get to see two more pretties from Vapid Lacquer during my all-indie Radiant Orchid post!ย If you haven’t hit my facebook page yet, get over there and check out some great brands and bloggers. Until tomorrow,

Jessica

  1. I love the caramel color but I think it might end up looking funny against my coloring. I absolutely love the purple. So, so pretty!
