2014 favorite button | Be Happy And Buy PolishGood morning all! ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you’re having a great morning! I have been on pins and needles waiting to show you the pretties I have for you today, so let’s just get right to it, eh?

I have 5 polishes today from Mentality, 3 were sent for review and 2 I purchased myself. Mentality saw that I had a whole host of posts about the Radiant Orchid color of the year, and they asked if they could send me polishes that fit right into that. Of course, it’s Mentality, how could I say no? Fair warning: lots of pretty pictures ahead! ๐Ÿ™‚ย (Please note: I no longer support Mentality Nail Polish, if you’d like more information about this, please read myย open Facebook post.)

With all the polishes, I started off with a 2 coats of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter-A-Peel. I used OPI top coat on all polishes.

First up, Gelato, an addition to Mentality’s Frosty Matte line. This is described as a ‘frosty red-purple polish with purple glass flecks.’ ย The formula was flawless, I’ve applied 2 coats here because I liked the look of showing just a slight nail line.

I love how applying topcoat mutes the whiteness of the polish and brings out the purple flecks more.

Next is Lollipop, an addition to their Candy Jelly Holo line. This is described as ‘a red-purple jelly holographic nail polish.’ Shown here is 2 coats.

This is Tyler, an addition to the Jelly Collection.ย This is described as ‘a red-purple jelly nail polish.’ This is 3 coats, just to even things out a bit.

Now, for “my” polish (okay, maybe it wasn’t named after me, but that’s okay) – Jessica, from Mentality’s new Luxe Textured Glass collection. This is described as ‘a super dense red-purple glass fleck nail polish.’ This is 3 coats, for evenness’ sake.

I didn’t find that this was overly textured – nothing like OPI Liquid Sands that drive me bonkers. It’s more like slightly but evenly bumpy all over. (I did apply Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food before topcoat for those pictures.)

Last but not least is Royalty, an additional to the Purple Mattes.ย This is described as ‘a medium red purple matte nail polish.’ Shown here is 2 coats.

No topcoat:
Mentality Royalty

Royalty as an almost velvety look to it without topcoat, but with topcoat it has this amazing sparkle – and yes, it does look this pretty with or without flash!

I cannot say enough good things about Mentality – their products are great, their prices are great, they have amazing customer service, they have free shipping to U.S. address (seriously amazing!). You can find all these polishes under their 2014 Color of the Year section on their website, and keep up with announcements on their facebook page.

I cannot even decide which one is my favorite, to be honest! What do you think of these polishes? Which are your favorite, or can you even decide? I’d love to know! Until the next time,
