Crumpet’s 33Day Challenge: #9 Indian

Good morning all! 🙂 Today’s challenge is Indian. I really wanted to do an Indian style pattern, so I looked around on the internet and found this one. Let’s see how I did on re-creating it!

I started off with 3 coats of essie turquoise & caicos. I love this color but it’s super thin and hard to control. 😦 I then used a striping brush with SOPI Studs & Stilettos for the “waves”, and a dotting tool with essie the girls are out (pink), and essie tart deco (orangey-coral).

What do you think? I like how rich and sumptuous looking it came out, but my lines could have definitely been better spaced. Be sure to check out the rest of the great manis for today by clicking below:

Tomorrow, I’ll have part two of my review of The Devil Wears Polish, so until then,
Be Happy and Buy Polish

P.S. Don’t forget if you’re a nail blogger, I’d love for you to join me in creating a manicure for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day on October 15. You can read the details here.
