Jindie Nails Monsters Ink and Sally Hansen Perfect Pear-ing

Good morning! It’s a rainy, drizzly day here – good thing I had already taken pictures of Monsters Ink before now because this is one stand-out polish!

I’ve started out with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Perfect Pear-ing. I found this at Target for $1.74(!!). It is the perfect almost-neon minty green that I’ve been looking for! It has a jelly-ish quality but it isn’t a jelly. My camera would not take a good picture of it, but this was the best I could do:

Over this, I layered Jindie Nails Monsters Ink. This is a green (with a tinge of yellow) based polish, with a whole bunch of different matte and shiny glitters. (Seriously, go take a look at the listing!) I just had to take a bunch of different pictures of this beauty!

The following two are inside, no flash, natural light, matte finish:

Here’s outside, fading sunshine, no flash, with top coat:

Lastly, here is what my camera did when I used the flash setting. Note: this is NOT what Perfect Pear-ing looks like in real life. My camera turns it a neon green:

Zowie! Look at that blinding brightness. Haha, good thing that’s not how it really looks! Monsters Ink went on smoothly with only a slight amount of fishing for some of the bigger pieces that I wanted. Make sure you let each coat dry well before applying the next coat. I used 3 thin coats for what you see above.

You can still pick up the medium size bottle of Monsters Ink for $5 at Jindie Nails – the full size bottle is sold-out. Keep up with Jindie Nails on facebook as well for re-stock news. Side note: Jen at Jindie Nails has the best customer service – she does right by her customers and I have no hesitation in recommending her shop!

Until tomorrow,

  1. I love green polish and these are both very appealing to me. I envision some cute Halloween manis using that top coat. I love your tagline or whatever it’s called, “Be Happy and Buy Polish”, ha ha mine should be, “Buying Polish Makes Me Happy”.

  2. Both of those polishes look awesome! I really love the SH green and for under $2 it’s a major steal. Definitely an awesome crelly polish. Me likey. I think that Jindie Nails polish makes it look even more awesome.

  3. I have my first Jindie polish and honestly it looks like this and its called Screamimg Halloween. But I said that to say thx for giving me and idea to do w it.Plenty of this shade but knowing me I am on the hunt for this SH XW.lol
