Good morning! It’s a rainy, drizzly day here – good thing I had already taken pictures of Monsters Ink before now because this is one stand-out polish!
I’ve started out with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Perfect Pear-ing. I found this at Target for $1.74(!!). It is the perfect almost-neon minty green that I’ve been looking for! It has a jelly-ish quality but it isn’t a jelly. My camera would not take a good picture of it, but this was the best I could do:
Over this, I layered Jindie Nails Monsters Ink. This is a green (with a tinge of yellow) based polish, with a whole bunch of different matte and shiny glitters. (Seriously, go take a look at the listing!) I just had to take a bunch of different pictures of this beauty!
The following two are inside, no flash, natural light, matte finish:
Here’s outside, fading sunshine, no flash, with top coat:
Zowie! Look at that blinding brightness. Haha, good thing that’s not how it really looks! Monsters Ink went on smoothly with only a slight amount of fishing for some of the bigger pieces that I wanted. Make sure you let each coat dry well before applying the next coat. I used 3 thin coats for what you see above.
You can still pick up the medium size bottle of Monsters Ink for $5 at Jindie Nails – the full size bottle is sold-out. Keep up with Jindie Nails on facebook as well for re-stock news. Side note: Jen at Jindie Nails has the best customer service – she does right by her customers and I have no hesitation in recommending her shop!
