Orly Rock the World + Gilded Coral

Products reviewed were purchased by myself.

Today I received two packages from nail polish bloggers (The Nail Polish Guru and Once Upon a Polish) from their blog sales. So exciting!

I really wanted to do something with the Orly Gilded Coral, so I grabbed the bottle of Orly Rock the World from my stash to pair with it.

Orly Gilded Coral 1 thin coat, with flash

Well, I knew one coat wasn’t going to work, so here we go for two coats:

Orly Gilded Coral, 2 thin coats, with flash

Orly Gilded Coral, 2 thin coats, no flash, natural light

Alright, now to add Orly Rock the World. You don’t see it here, but after I had applied both coats of GC, I messed up both my middle fingers (something about painting your nails around children that never works out for the better!). So, I had to be creative in covering up the messes!

Orly Rock the World 1 thick coat over Gilded Coral. Natural light

I love how the golden shimmer in Rock the World bring out the golden shimmer in Gilded Coral. A very fun manicure. And here is the cleaned up manicure:

So, what’s on your fingernails or toenails today? BTW, if you’re interested in picking up polishes from blog sales, I highly recommend both Brittany at The Nail Polish Guru and Jessica at Once Upon a Polish. They’re both awesome ladies with great prices and polishes.

  1. Ahh…yay! You bought some polish from Jessica. I love her! πŸ™‚ Rock the world looks like a great color. I don’t think I’ve ever used it before. I’m a little behind the times when it comes to Orly.

    • It really is a very cool color. I was looking at it this morning in low light, and it looked like a shimmery brown. In brighter lights, it looks purple and gold. It’s very fun. πŸ™‚

  2. That’s super cute!! I love the Orly Rock The World…very pretty!

I hear ya…kids and painting my nails doesn’t work at my house either! πŸ™‚
